Gibson Guitar named her Best Female Guitar Player, and her peers include the heroes she grew up studying: Steve Wariner, Vince Gill, and Ricky Skaggs.

Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017, Anita turned her fight into music. “Fight Like A Girl” won Best Music Video at the 2018 Creation International Film Festival, carried her to Good Morning America with Robin Roberts, an NFL Thursday Night Football halftime show — and into the hearts of fighters everywhere. Proceeds fund breast cancer research through her own Love Anchors Fund.
